PostSecrets

Via Cheryl Richardson's most recent newsletter, I am passing along a blog called PostSecrets. It is very artitistic & I'd say a form of therapy even. As Cheryl says,

"The entries are moving, and I'm sure, comforting to those who
feel alone in the secrets they keep.  Read through the postcards and you'll probably find that you have more in common with others than you think."

I found them very creative & provided me with a great deal of perspective in my life. I wish I could just hug each of them or if I had the power of a magic wand, fix everything for them.

It also made me think (oh no!) about everyone having a secret & what would that secret be for say family members (hmmm, maybe I don't want to go there?), friends, colleagues etc. Seriously though, it can remind you that many people have pain which they keep very hidden and what is amazing is it is probably this common pain which can connect our spirits the most. Some may feel their pain is not as bad as others, but that is all really relative. Some people have gone through so much & yet they feel your pain is much worse & you don't. I think we can all relate in some way or empathize to some degree though one of my spiritual mentors from India once said, "Somtimes you put the other person's shoes on & they don't fit!" Perhaps it is not knowing exactly the pain of another, but the simple fact that you have pain too which makes the connection. Surprisingly to many, it is through connecting our spirits that we can release this pain.

I hope you find this site helpful! Love to hear what you think.
