Brooks & Wal Mart

Well have you all heard about Garth Brooks new exclusive deal with Wal Mart. John had just had an entry on Target vs Wal Mart and this brings up some real issues here if we can only get certain music at certain places!

Would being restricted to where you buy an artist's music make a difference to you? Do you think this may start the ball rolling for other artists? How about other products?

I hadn't heard about this... I am all for supporting things for a good cause.. so I would buy things at certain stores only if I felt there was a good reason for it being done that way.  If I disagreed with the whole purpose of it, or it inconvenienced me too awfully much, then I can live without it.... If something bothers people the best way to get your point across is boycott it, if at all possible, but there always seems to be enough people to support things.

I am a Target girl... The Washingtonian has a big two level Target. E and I adore it. I heard about this deal and wonder if it doesn't just play more into a stereotype that is silly in the first place....... judi
