Weekend Assignment #108: Show off (or link to) a lesser-known work from a favorite artist.
My favorite is Noel's work. In particular her Angels. The ones I like the most are:
Grace
Whisper
Mercy
Angel of the Lake
She also has some lovely books.
Extra Credit: When was the last time you were in an art museum?
A year ago May. I went to see the Rembrandt exhibit after the MPA conference. I lucked out! It was sold out but a member donated a ticket & because I was alone they gave it to me. I think got the audio tour at the membership rate. I am so glad I did the audio tour. Totally worth it! I would have never known the info it explained or picked up the points in the painting they suggested. I found my self so excited. I was learning something so new. I was not really into art so this was all totally new to me.

It must have been fantastic to see one of the greatest artists of all time. There are so many great artists that I am inspired by in "American Art Review" magazine that I receive. Having access to such fine reproductions makes artist's today so much better off. Reading about their lives brings out more meaning behind their works.
