Take Some Bill Maher & Some Extra Love...

Ok, it is official, I think...after being around my sick students for weeks I think I have a cold! UGH! I can't stand being sick!!!! ARRRGGGHHHH! Ya, I know like everyone else does but still! And I had soooo much energy & passion this past week...ugh! I have this one student who had been sick for like a month & yesterday she comes up right next to me. She also sits in front of my desk so the chances were good. Ugh! Why don't these sick students stay home...ha! There is so much going around right now with our cold rainy weather we have been having lately. Actually, changing weather. It just doesn't want to make up its mind. It is beautiful outside though. I love the in between stage....there are beautiful contrasts of yellow & orange against trees that are still green. I saw one yesterday that was 1/2 green & 1/2 yellow...no not like split down the middle but just mixed all over. Maybe I should go take a ride up near where I grew up. We lived on an 1 1/3 acres of woods. The whole area is just gorgeous this time of the year.

I thought I'd embed some Bill Maher. He makes me laugh & I had to try to make myself laugh this morning instead of "being icky sick!" Last night Robbin Williams was on the show & he was hysterical! I love Robbin...men who make me laugh. Robbin's mind is just amazing! Can you imagine him in kindergarten.

Well, I better go do what I tell my students to do & take a shower & get dress so I feel better than just laying around. Probably should eat something too. Need Fuel to fight this thing. Then again I could do what my grandma always told me...Kiss someone & give it to them! HA! And hmmm that sounds like a good idea anyways! ;-) Then again, I better make sure they go kiss someone so they don't get sick & can "come play outside!" :-) Of course they can kiss someone platonic! HA!

Oh I love this song....When Did you Fall by Chris Rice. Go to this link on his website to hear the song & to send it as an e-card to someone you love! ;-) It does make me think of how we don't always know when someone falls in love with us. Isn't that interesting. What was the moment you realized it? What an interesting question that would be to investigate & ask people. Do you remember the exact moment???

Chris Rice - When Did You Fall
From the album Amusing

You’re all smiles and silly conversation
As if this sunny day came just for you
You twist your hair, you smile and you turn your eyes away
C’mon, tell me what’s right with you
Now it dawns on me probably everybody’s talkin’
And there’s something here I’m supposed to realize
‘Cause your secret’s out, and the universe laughs at it’s joke on me
I just caught it in your eyes, it’s a beautiful surprise

Chorus:
When did you fall in love with me?
Was it out of the blue
‘Cause I swear I never knew it
When did you let your heart run free?
Have you been waiting long?
When did you fall in love with me?
When did you fall in love?

Make your way over here, sit down by this fool, and let’s rewind
C’mon, let’s go back and replay all our scenes
You can point out the hints, the clues, the twists and the smiles this time
All the ones that slipped by me
I bet my face is red, and you can hear my heart poundin’
Well I guess it don’t matter now that I realize
‘Cause baby I missed it then, but I can surely see you now
Right there before my eyes
You’re my beautiful surprise

Chorus:

Was it at the coffee shop
Or that morning at the bus stop
When you almost slipped, and I caught your hand
Or the time we built the snowman
The day at the beach, sandy and warm
Or the night with the scary thunderstorm
I never saw the signs
Now we’ve got to make up for lost time
And I can tell now by the way that you’re looking at me
I’d better finish this song so my lips will be free

Have you been waiting long, when did you fall in love
I kept you waiting so long, when did you fall
Have you been waiting long
When did you fall in love with me
When did you fall in love?

Your right about getting up, take a shower, and getting dressed makes you feel better.  I tell that to my kids all the time when their sick.
