Still Icky!

Well, called the doc today. Said to give it one more day & see how I am. Colds normally last 10 days...did you know that? I didn't know that. Said the 5th day you usally see it getting better. Tomorrow will be my fifth day so, ok I'll wait one more day. Only had 99 today so that isn't too bad. My head is starting to hurt in the last hour though. Haven't been sleeping very well though.

I'm very pissed though! Comcast got a nasty call from me tonight. I turn on the tv & I'm checking for Ted Danson's new show "Help Me Help You" & Dancing With the Stars is on still. They are talking in Spanish! I'm like what is that! No other channels were doing that. Then when Ted's show came on & it was just broken up audio...then I got really pissed because it meant I missed Boston Legal! Ugh!!!! I missed last week because I was traveling! So anyone who has watched the last too weeks please email me what is happening! I saw tonight the guy that was in Upside of Anger.

They took off the snow for Thurs & now they have flurries back. Odd...I love snow but I'm in denial on this coming? Don't know why. Maybe because I'm sick & can't play in it. I love the snow where I grew up. All wooded, so it would look like a winter wonderland...like snow castles. I remember this one guy I was dating, it had been snowing all evening while we were out & stopped by the time we got back about 11pm or so. We went walking through the streets in the snow at night with the stars. You know that hush when you have a heavy snow & the crispness of new snow. It was very lovely & romantic...though wrong guy to have it with! HA!

I need to try on my winter coats & get a new one I think...my long one is no lie...from 1987! I had it in grad school! It is great though with a hood & thick! The one's with hoods now are sooo thin! I want a black leather stadium coat with the brown fur on the hood too but can't find one.I had a plum stadium & that is so old it has no lining to it anymore. See when I fall in love, then that is it...you got me forever! HA! Maybe I just want to enjoy the fall before we get into Thanksgiving & Christmas. It all goes by so fast. I do have some Christmas presents already though.

I'm not going into work again tomorrow but not quite sure yet if I'm canceling my classes or getting someone to cover them. I feel so out of it, not being in my regular routine & being able to do what I love to do, but at the same time I know I can't. I just don't have the energy & I would look pretty pathetic dealing with this cold in class. Well, hopefully I'll be much better by tomorrow evening. Starting to get tired so I think I'll lie down & see if I can fall asleep for awhile, now that I can breath better. HA....did you see the new Volvo commercial with the little girl telling her dad so much...I LOVE IT! I'd love a girl like that. That was probably me! I can't think anymore...gotta go! I know that is pretty major for me! HA! Later!
