Need a Laugh?

Do you need a really good laugh? I mean one where you are crying & your stomach hurts from laughing? Go to Three Little Piggies' "Nuclear Situations" entry. I think this one could be used for the next South Park epsidode! HA! Actually, they probably have had it & I have missed it. I can't imagine them missing this topic considering all the others! HA!

Just remember, make sure not to take a gulp of a drink before you read this! HA! I'm sure some of you with kids have similar stories. They can be stressfull but they also can really relieve it in many ways. Funny thing...same is true for mates! :-)

The Hot Z!

15 Days.....Oct 28th....ZORRO Baby! ;-) Mom & I already have a date!!! HA! It just isn't good to be drooling so much & gasping next to a guy! HA! They have very delicate egos you know! :-) I think Mom has the hots more than I do! HA! I apparently get her genes! Ha! I remember when I was younger, she'd be driving me in Chicago & as she is driving she's like "Look at that guy" I'm like MOM!....drive! Well at least my mom is cool! At least she has great taste!

Despardo is not too shabby either! ;-)

"You Compliment Me!"

Jodi has an interesting entry disagreeing with the Jerry Maquire Philosophy of "You Complete Me!" :-) I tend to agree with her! I think you can't be dependent on another for your happiness. They may add to it and you to their's, but you have to bring your fullness to a relationship. Now, we are not always 100% as Jodi mentions, bumps on the road, speedbumps etc., but that is when we enjoy helping each other out in life.

Check out Jodi's entry & love to hear what you think!

Pet's Christmas List!

Take a look at this site: PostmodernPets.com

Pretty cool! I'm loving that kitty couch! I think Dusty would love it.  The racing fish...that could be hours of fun! :-) I'd put in some kind of flower in there for color though....grass? I think the cats would be there & go "forget the grass I want a fish!"

YIPES! Look at some of those prices! Sorry Dusty, gas prices are cutting your christmas wish list a bit. Well, I'd probably still spoil him & skimp on myself! HA!  Amazing what unconditional love can do huh! :-)

Just Scratch the 7 Yr Itch! HA!

I love this! I'm sure it could be the other way around but the idea is what matters! HA!

Dear Husband:

I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you for good.

I've been a good woman to you for seven years and I have nothing to show for it. These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you had quit your job today and that was the last straw. Last week, you came home and didn't notice that I had gotten my hair and nails done, cooked your favorite meal and even wore a brand new negligee. You came home and ate in two minutes, and went straight to sleep after watching the game. You don't tell me you love me anymore, you don't touch me or anything. You're cheating or you don't love me anymore, whatever the case is, I'm gone.

P.S. If you're trying to find me, don't. Your BROTHER and I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life!

Your EX-Wife
*****************
Dear Ex-Wife

Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It's true that you and I have been married for seven years, although a good woman is a far cry from what you've been. I watch sports so much to try to drown out your constant nagging. Too bad that doesn't work.

I did notice when you cut off all of your hair last week, the first thing that came to mind was "You look just like a man!" My mother raised me to not say anything if you can't say anything nice.

When you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY BROTHER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago.

I went to sleep on you when you had on that new negligee because the price tag was still on it. I prayed that it was a coincidence that my brother had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning and your negligee was $49.99. After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out. So when I discovered that I had hit the lotto for ten million dollars, I quit my job and bought us two tickets to Jamaica. But when I got home you were gone.

Everything happens for a reason I guess. I hope you have the filling life you always wanted. My lawyer said with your letter that you wrote, you won't get a dime from me. So take care.

P.S. I don't know if I ever told you this but Carl, my brother was born Carla. I hope that's not a problem.

Kids View of Love!

I received this in my email today & thought I'd share it with you. It is lovely! Don't you just love kids. We should remember their viewpoint!!!

What does Love mean?

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."   Rebecca- age 8

When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."    Billy - age 4

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."  Karl - age 5

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of
your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."  Chrissy -age 6

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired." Terri - age 4

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK." Danny - age 7

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss" Emily - age 8

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen." Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate," Nikka - age 6 (we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday." Noelle - age 7

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well." Tommy - age 6

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore." Cindy - age 8

"My mommy loves me more than anybody . You don't see anyone else kissingme to sleep at night." Clare - age 6

"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken." Elaine-age 5

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford." Chris - age 7

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day." Mary Ann - age 4

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones." Lauren - age 4

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." (what an imagination) Karen - age 7

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross." Mark - age 6

"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget." Jessica - age 8

And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about a contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked
what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry"

Under The Tuscan Sun

Ending of Under the Tuscan Sun...on cable now...

"What is a house? It is the four walls which contain the dreamer."

Interesting to me since my folks just moved this weekend from the home they have been at for almost 28 yrs. I'll journal about it later....

"Unbelievable things can happen even late in the game."

Ok, how late in the game are we talking about here? :-) I really HOPE so!

"They built the tracks even before there was train because they knew one day it would come."

Perhaps the idea is to just be able to go on a journey & not any particular destination?

The water finally flowing freely...

is that her spirit? :-)

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!

Just something to think too much about!
